Design: Setsu e Shinobu Ito
“NU” with its “hard” interface, the external surfaces, with the surrounding space and its “soft” interface, the internal surfaces, with the human being. A series of sofas that combines together a “hard” and a “soft” interface, with rigid surfaces that define a neat separation between the object and space and smooth surfaces that welcome people communicating protection and comfort. The overall cubical and compact form is contrasted by the sinuous form of the seating parts. Monobloc sofa and armchair in molded polyurethane with steel frame. Feet in chromed steel. The final covering in fabric or leather can be completely slipped off.
